Position Summary
The Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating Division I&E projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within the organization. Essential Functions
- Coordinate execution of I&E projects, including scope development, contracting plans, and cost control.
- Provide technical support for installation, maintenance, and repair of instrument and electronic equipment.
- Establish clear goals for I&E efforts, focusing on standardization and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures, including DOT, NEC, EPA, OSHA, and Tivoli Midstream standards.
- Participate in audits, hazard reviews, and process analyses to maintain operational integrity.
- Assist with budget creation and long-range planning for projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications & Experience
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 or more years of petrochemical or industry-related experience as an I&E technician.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work outside of regular hours.
Preferred:
- Associates degree in Electrical Maintenance, Instrumentation, or Industrial Electronics.
- 1 or more years of experience with specific equipment and systems.
- 3 or more years of technical knowledge and training in instrument and electrical maintenance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to mentor contractors and drive alignment with safety culture.
- Proficiency in PLCs, Rosemount Transmitters, Delta V and other relevant equipment.
- Technical expertise in electronics, digital and analog circuitry, and schematics.
- Familiarity with automation, systems integration, and control systems logic software development.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, lift articles up to 50 pounds, and work outside in harsh weather conditions.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and be on call
