Position Summary

The Operations position at Tivoli Midstream, situated in Texas, entails the day-to-day oversight of activities at a cryogenic ammonia gas storage terminal and onsite operations. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Operate and maintain ammonia tank, jetty, and pipeline equipment.
• Execute start-up and shutdown procedures for plant equipment.
• Adjust controls to maintain equipment within recommended operating ranges.
• Conduct visual inspections to detect malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Monitor plant and pipeline operations, responding to emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with PHMSA and DOT regulations.
• Implement and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Monitor ammonia and propylene system and communicate potential issues.
• Record and monitor various operating conditions.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Collaborate on improvement initiatives with supervisors.
• Manage a rotating shift schedule for operations staff.
• Maintain compliance documentation for PHMSA and site requirements.
• Train process field operators and support development of operating procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications & Experience

• Technical certification in process technology.
• Preferred 2+ years’ experience in process operations or related role within oil and gas industry.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Knowledge of processing plant systems and operations.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
